The Assyria Foundation exists to help ensure the ultimate survival of the Assyrian identity and nation. Assyrians are one of the largest Diaspora communities in the world, with most of the remaining Assyrians in the Middle East living in Iraq (followed by Syria, Iran, and Turkey). The Foundation strives to bridge the divide between the Diaspora communities, create a connection to the Homeland, and provide the resources Assyrians need to survive in the Homeland and around the world.

The Assyria Foundation serves as an education tool on the Assyrian identity and culture, and promotes education and development projects and seeks to enhance awareness of Assyrian issues to the West. Our first priority is education and dissemination of Assyrian issues to the Assyria community and the non-Assyrian community. The survival of the Assyrian nation, language, identity, and homeland is the force that drives the Assyria Foundation. By bridging the divide in the Diaspora, we hope to make the world a little smaller for the Assyrian nation.
